Part-Time / Medical Assistant

Eastside Dermatology is a growing dermatology practice looking to hire experienced medical assistants to work with our highly skilled provider team. We have been serving patients on the east side of Michigan for over 25 years and are excited to be able to provide high-quality dermatologic care to the Hartland and surrounding communities. Job Duties:

- Greet patients.

- Pull patients back for patient intake.

- Assist providers with procedures.

- Obtain and document patient information.

- Communicate with providers, patients, and staff.

- Update EMR records.

- Obtains required MIPS documentation.

- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.

- Provide patient education and support.

- Perform cleaning, sterilizing, organizing and inventory tasks.

- Stock exam rooms with proper medical supplies.

- Ensure timely service to patients.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certificate of Completion of Medical Assistant Program.

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent certificate

- Prior experience in dermatology required.

- EMR experience, preferably EMA

Conscientious – Dependable, trustworthy, quality/accuracy oriented, takes initiative)

Ability to multitask.

Hourly pay varies on level of experience.
