Dermatology Medical Assistant

Dermatology practice specializing in treatment and prevention of skin cancer. This position supports providers with patient care, clinical procedures, and other tasks as needed to ensure efficient office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Rooms patients and obtain vital signs, update medical histories, medications, and allergies.

· Assists physician assistant with minor surgical procedures and other dermatologic treatments.

· Document encounter within electronic medical record.

· Provide patient education.

· Clean, stock, and maintain exam rooms.

· Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and office policies.

Qualifications:

· Medical Assistant certification required.

· Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical practice.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift supplies throughout the workday.

· Manual dexterity to assist with clinical procedures.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
