Dermatology Medical Assistant/Receptionist Float

**Job Title:** Dermatology Assistant/Reception-Adminstrative

**Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Dermatology Assistant to join our team. As a Dermatology Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting dermatology providers in providing high-quality patient care and treatment. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to improving the health and well-being of our patients.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist providers in various procedures, including in office procedures and surgeries.

- Provide support in MOHS surgery and excisions

- Act as a scribe in real time to accurately document all aspects of medical visits.

- Utilize anatomy knowledge to assist in dermatological examinations and treatments.

- Support provider needs as they arise, demonstrating quick thinking and responsiveness.

- Administer topical and injectable numbing under supervision.

- Work seamlessly with all support staff including answering phones and scheduling appointments

- Deliver lab and pathology results to patients in a kind manner with empathy

- Ensure patient comfort and confidentiality throughout all interactions.

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

- Knowledge of patient care principles and practices.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.

**Nice-to-Have Skills:**

- Experience in Dermatology.

- Experience with EZDerm EHR

- Experience with UPDOX

- Familiarity with Dermatology medicine and protocols.

- Background working in a hospital or clinical setting.

- Solid understanding of human anatomy.

- Experience in fast paced environments

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
