Job Summary
The Dermatology Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing dermatological and aesthetic procedures. The role involves assisting dermatologists, performing non-invasive treatments, patient education, and ensuring safe, high-quality clinical care in accordance with Qatar’s healthcare standards and regulatory requirements (including QCHP).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dermatologists during consultations, examinations, and dermatological procedures.
- Perform aesthetic and laser procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain treatment plans clearly.
- Ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Document patient care, assessments, and procedure notes accurately in the system.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure care.
- Monitor patient progress and report any adverse reactions.
- Provide wound care and administer prescribed medications or topical therapies.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the visit.
- Maintain medical equipment, instruments, and consumables.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering dermatology supplies.
- Follow QCHP, facility, and international safety guidelines.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Nursing.
- QCHP License / Eligibility as a Dermatology Nurse.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Dermatology, Aesthetic Clinics, or Laser Clinics.
- Knowledge of dermatology procedures, skincare products, and cosmetic treatments.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
- Philippines Female locally available with QCHP License.
