Dermatology Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner

Job Description:

A busy dermatology practice is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to work alongside a board-certified dermatologist in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of dermatologic conditions. The ideal candidate has experience in general dermatology, is confident performing independent patient assessments and minor procedures, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Compensation: Pay: $60.00 – $80.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive skin exams and assess dermatologic conditions

Experience with Mohs closures is required

Diagnose and treat common and complex skin disorders, including acne, psoriasis, eczema, rashes, actinic keratoses, and skin cancers

Assist with and/or perform procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, incision and drainage (I&D), and intralesional injections

Accurately and thoroughly document all patient encounters in the EMR (experience with EMA preferred)

Perform cosmetic procedures, including Botox, microneedling, IPL laser, RF microneedling, and dermal fillers

Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatment plans, skincare, and sun protection

Collaborate with supervising physician and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care

Maintain current knowledge of dermatologic treatments and best practices

Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory standards

Support cosmetic skincare product sales

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
