Design & Analysis Specialist
BCC is seeking a detail-oriented individual, preferably with life insurance knowledge, to work within our Design & Analysis team. The ideal candidate can effectively prioritize time, actively communicate, and work independently to meet deadlines for our banking clients.
Role Overview:
The Design & Analysis Specialist plays a key role in developing tailored proposals for new and existing clients. This position integrates customized non-qualified benefit plans with a diverse range of insurance products, delivering strategic solutions that enhance employee retention and reward programs. The Specialist also supports clients through the implementation process, ensuring seamless execution and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze insurance carrier product features and performance to recommend optimal solutions.
- Run and manage multiple insurance illustration systems to provide accurate and competitive proposals.
- Collaborate directly with insurance carriers to obtain case illustrations and approvals.
- Evaluate and compare the financial impact of various employee benefit plans using proprietary proposal tools.
- Conduct comprehensive insurance needs analyses for benefit expense offset and business succession planning.
- Review, verify, and ensure client benefit plan documents align with their objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive employee benefit plan enrollment packets for client distribution.
- Create due diligence and compliance documentation to ensure thorough client records.
- Serve as an internal resource on insurance products and plan designs, providing guidance to team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field, but not required if the candidate has relevant life insurance experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Salesforce (or similar tools).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Familiarity with financial instruments, including net present values and internal rate of return.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and adaptable to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
