Curbside Enterprises is seeking a Design & Customer Service Coordinator for its nonprofit screen-printing shop – Curbside Apparel. This position will be customer-focused to understand and meet their graphic design needs, guiding customers through the sales, design, and billing process. Additionally, this position will support production by managing supply inventory, developing production schedules, and creating or editing design files for print. The successful candidate for this position will have a sharp eye for detail, strong organization and communication skills, and graphic design experience including proficiency in professional design applications like Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).

Responsibilities:
· Graphic Design
- Create original design files, item mockups, color separations, print-ready artwork, films, and other production files for clients.
- Oversee designs for internal retail initiatives including creating custom designs as well as identifying and contracting with outside designers.
- Work with clients to understand and meet graphic design needs, including creating, editing, and rebuilding client artwork files to meet client and production needs.
- Assist with marketing efforts by collecting photos of products, print runs, and program participants during production. Help with social media posts as needed.
· Customer Experience & Account Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for all customers and provide friendly, expert customer service.
- Consult with customers to educate them on the screen-printing process and provide project quotes and timelines.
- Manage the full billing cycle: project estimates, invoicing, and tracking deposits and payments.
- Maintain organized digital records, including detailed client notes, print files, and purchase receipts.
- Actively engage with current, former, and prospective customers, pursuing new jobs to maintain a full production schedule
- Help maintain collaborative working relationships with community partners including wholesale distributors, commercial customers, wholesale shops, and nonprofit partners.
· Production & Logistics
- Coordinate the shop’s workflow by ordering blank shirts, inks, and other raw materials, and building production schedules.
- Work closely with production team to schedule print jobs, ensuring projects stay on schedule and remaining in communication with customers.
- Manage inventory: receive shipments, unpack merchandise, check and maintain inventory, and organize shop supplies.
- Oversee fulfillment, including customer pickups and local deliveries.
· Shop Support
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Nurture a positive work environment, demonstrating patience and support.
- Assist with hands-on production (presses, screens, or heat-pressing) as needed to meet deadlines.
- Support daily operations and monitor production processes to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Transport program participants and deliver products to customers as needed.
· Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Graphic design experience required including proficiency in professional design applications like Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat). Volunteer and personal work considered.
- Customer service, sales, communication, marketing, or related experience.
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license & proof of insurance.
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED required.
- Knowledgeable about the screen-printing process or willingness to learn.
- Computer literate; experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook, Internet.
- Must be able and willing to learn how to use the following platforms (including but not limited to): Honeybook, Shopify, Square, DropBox, and Google Drive.
Physical Requirements
- Sitting or standing for long periods of time. Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and squat.
- Must be able to lift/move weight up to 40 lbs.
- Will be regularly exposed to inks, cleaners, and other screen-printing liquids.
- Required to accept incoming calls, greet customers, and coach program participants. Requires the ability to hear and speak.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision adequate to perform the responsibilities and functions of the printing job.
- The noise level is quiet to moderate, non-smoking environment

Work Environment: The employee will work in a production shop. Hectic situations could occur characteristic to working with people experiencing homelessness and the concerns and situations related to homeless conditions. Potential exists for volatile and unpredictable situations to occur. Exposure to strong odors such as soiled clothes and poor hygiene can happen. About us: Curbside Enterprises works to provide dignified income to people who often feel like they have no other options, enables people to end their homelessness through our employment and housing case management programs, puts a face to the issue of homelessness, and empowers the community to play a role in solving the problem. We currently operate four social enterprises, which include Curbside Apparel, a screen-printing company providing employment opportunities for people transitioning out of homelessness in Oklahoma City. Curbside clients employed in the apparel shop receive specialized training in the screen-printing process and in a customer-service environment, helping them gain the skills and stability needed to rebuild their lives.
