Design and Estimation Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Design and Estimation Engineer to design, analyze, and deliver safe, cost‑effective:

a. Steel structures for warehouses, mezzanines, and other similar structures.

b. Designs for different types of material handling products like Forklift Ramps, Trailers, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze steel members, connections, and frames using relevant codes and standards.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, load paths, and design reports.
• Produce and check detailed fabrication and erection drawings; coordinate with detailers and fabricators.
• Perform site visits and provide technical support during fabrication and erection phases.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
• End‑to‑end ownership from concept through fabrication.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering;
• Professional license for at least G+1 from Dubai Municipality.
• 2+ years of steel design and estimation experience.
• Proven track record designing steel structures and preparing fabrication drawings.

Preferred Skills and Tools

• Proficiency with structural analysis and FEA tools (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, ANSYS).
• Detailing and drafting: Tekla Structures, Advance Steel, Solidworks, AutoCAD, Revit.
• Knowledge of steel design codes
• Strong communication and coordination skills for multi‑discipline teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
