Organization Overview

Gates Tennis Center is a high volume, extremely active outdoor tennis and pickleball center located in the heart of Cherry Creek. Gates is open to the public and was awarded the Tennis Industry Magazine Municipal Tennis Facility of the Year in 2016. This is a year-round, outdoor facility that boasts up to 18 tennis courts and up to 14 Pickleball courts.

Position Overview:

The Design and Marketing Specialist plays a key role in supporting the development and execution of marketing initiatives that enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and support business growth. This position combines creative design skills with strong marketing acumen to produce visually compelling content and manage campaigns across digital and print platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Content Creation

  • Design marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, social media graphics, web banners, event signage, and presentations.
  • Create and edit visual assets using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar tools.
  • Assist in maintaining brand guidelines and ensuring visual consistency across all platforms.
  • Support website content updates and visual optimization.
  • Develop creative concepts and visual storytelling campaigns.

Marketing

  • Assist in planning, executing, and tracking marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, social media, web, print, events, etc.).
  • Coordinate content calendars, campaign timelines, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution.
  • Support brand consistency across all materials and communications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to develop and distribute marketing collateral.
  • Suggests marketing strategy through conduct market research.
  • Manage and organize email databases.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, design, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Constant Contact) and social media management (e.g., Facebook, Instagram).
  • Strong understanding of branding, layout, and visual composition.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or web design is a plus.
  • Photography or video editing experience is a bonus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
