Job Summary
Caperton Cabinets is seeking a Detail-Oriented Design and Production Specialist to manage the workflow between customer specifications and shop floor production. This role is essential in ensuring accurate cabinet designs, proper material coordination, and clear communication throughout our manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Design custom cabinets in Mozaik software based on project specifications
- Review cabinet designs with customers to confirm all details and specifications
- Verify appliance fitment, clearances, and material selections
- Coordinate material ordering and maintain shop supply inventory
- Create detailed production documentation for cabinet builders and finishers
- Estimate jobs and provide accurate customer quotes
- Research and implement CNC optimization and improved building techniques
- Assist with walk-in customers and general shop operations as needed
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of cabinet building or cabinet design experience
- Strong understanding of cabinet construction, materials, and finishing
- Proficient with computers and able to learn new software quickly
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong customer communication abilities
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Mozaik or similar cabinet design software
- Estimating or project management background
- CNC equipment knowledge

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
