Position Overview

Dry Creek is seeking an organized, customer-focused, and design-oriented Design Center Coordinator to join our growing team. This role serves as a key connection between our clients, project teams, and Design Center operations throughout the bidding and production process.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, has strong presentation skills, and is passionate about helping clients make informed design selections. This position supports our Galt headquarters while collaborating with teams throughout the Bay Area and Central California.

Key Responsibilities

Client Experience & Design Selections

  • Welcome and guide clients through the design selection process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate design consultations, including virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams.
  • Prepare and present product and material selections using PowerPoint and other presentation tools.
  • Assist homeowners and commercial clients in selecting finishes, fixtures, materials, and design elements that align with project goals.
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and inviting Design Center environment.

Project Support

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Directors during bidding and production phases.
  • Track client selections and ensure accurate documentation for project teams.
  • Assist with procurement support, material tracking, and selection approvals.
  • Maintain project records, schedules, and selection documentation.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Schedule appointments and manage Design Center calendars.
  • Organize product samples, catalogs, and design resources.
  • Support vendor relationships and showroom updates.
  • Maintain accurate records in company systems and databases.
  • Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed.

Qualifications

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in customer service, showroom coordination, project coordination, construction support, interior design support, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Professional and customer-focused demeanor.

Preferred

  • Experience in construction, remodeling, interior design, architecture, or design center operations.
  • Experience with Cyncly Design Flex (Design 2020) software for kitchen, bath, and cabinetry layouts and presentations.
  • Ability to create, modify, and present cabinet and space-planning designs using 2020 Design software.
  • Familiarity with reading floor plans and elevations.
  • Experience preparing client design presentations, material selections, and creating power point presentations.
  • Knowledge of cabinetry products, finishes, and installation requirements is a plus.
  • Familiarity with residential and commercial finish selections.
  • Experience supporting project management teams.
  • Knowledge of material specifications, product sourcing, or procurement processes.
