Design Center Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and visionary Design Center Manager to lead our design team and elevate our interior and lighting solutions, locate and price options packages. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations of the design center, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure the delivery of innovative, high-quality design services. Duties

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the design center, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, providing expert guidance on lighting design, remodeling, renovation, and interior solutions
• Oversee project management from initial consultation through installation, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget
• Utilize industry-standard software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and 3ds Max to develop detailed designs and presentations
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely procurement of materials and adherence to project specifications
• Conduct drafting, rendering, color theory analysis, and CAD drawings for custom projects
• Manage contracts, pricing negotiations, and sales processes related to lighting sales and remodeling projects
• Develop and maintain budgets for projects while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction
• Train and mentor staff in design techniques, CAD drafting, lighting sales strategies, and customer service excellence

Experience

• Proven experience in interior design or lighting design with a strong portfolio demonstrating project management skills
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, Bluebeam, 3ds Max or similar 3D modeling software
• Solid understanding of drafting standards, color theory, CAD techniques, and construction processes
• Experience managing client relationships from initial consultation through project completion
• Knowledge of contracts law related to interior projects and remodeling work
• Background in sales within lighting or interior renovation sectors is highly desirable
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $54,840.07 - $66,043.96 per year
