Design Consultant

As a Design Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing design strategies to enhance the patient and family experience in our facilities. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to create a welcoming and functional environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team to understand the needs and preferences of our patients and their families, and develop design solutions that meet those needs
• Create and present design concepts, including floor plans, color schemes, and material selections, to stakeholders for approval
• Manage and oversee the implementation of design projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget
• Source and select furniture, fixtures, and equipment that meet our design standards and budget requirements
• Conduct site visits to assess design needs and make recommendations for improvements
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in healthcare design to ensure our facilities are modern and innovative
• Work closely with contractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of design elements
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all design projects
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that design projects align with our overall brand and mission

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and space planning
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to healthcare design is a plus
