Design Consultant – Luxury Custom Storage & Interior Solutions

Closet Envy is seeking a talented Design Consultant who thrives at the intersection of design, organization, and client experience. This role is perfect for someone who loves working directly with homeowners to transform their spaces while delivering a high-touch, luxury service experience.

At Closet Envy, we design beautiful, functional storage solutions that bring calm, elegance, and organization to our clients’ homes. Our Design Consultants are trusted advisors who guide clients from the first consultation through design and final installation.

What You'll Do

• Meet with clients (virtually and in-home) to understand their needs, lifestyle, and design preferences
• Design custom storage and organization solutions for closets, pantries, garages, home offices, and more
• Create detailed drawings and presentations using professional design software
• Guide clients through finish selections, layouts, and functional design features
• Present design concepts clearly and confidently while incorporating client feedback
• Collaborate closely with our production and installation teams to ensure designs are executed seamlessly
• Stay current on interior design trends, materials, and organization solutions
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience from consultation through installation

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of design consulting or interior design experience
• Strong understanding of space planning and functional design
• Experience working directly with clients in a consultative sales or design role
• Ability to communicate design ideas clearly through drawings and presentations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Collaborative team player who enjoys working with installers, designers, and operations teams
• Passion for design, organization, and creating beautiful spaces

Work Environment

• Primarily remote work
• Occasional in-home client consultations within the Tampa Bay area
• Flexible schedule based on client appointments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
