Design Consultant/Sales

Whether guiding clients through renovation projects or design selections, you’ll be instrumental in delivering exceptional service and inspiring transformations.

Duties

• Engage with customers in a showroom settings to identify their design needs and preferences, providing expert advice on layout design, functionality, and operational options.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features and benefits of the varies types of window treatments based on the needs of each situation to facilitate informed purchasing decisions
• Manage account relationships through effective communication skills, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering repeat business
• Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays, updating products, and maintaining an appealing showroom environment
• Handle POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail math calculations, while ensuring proper documentation of sales and inventory records
• Provide ongoing support for projects by coordinating with contractors on timelines, maintenance needs, and post-sale follow-up.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, sales or retail sales environments with a focus on building & maintaining relationships
• Knowledge of renovation processes and interior design principles are helpful but not required
• Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively
• Demonstrated organizational skills for managing multiple client accounts and project timelines efficiently
• Experience with POS systems, retail math calculations, merchandising strategies, and customer service best practices
• Ability to work inside the store environment with flexibility to adapt to various sales scenarios

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
