Design Consultant/Sales

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and creative Design Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in interior design and layout design to assist clients in creating beautiful and functional spaces. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, providing tailored design solutions, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills and a keen eye for detail, along with the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences and requirements.
• Create innovative layout designs that maximize space functionality and aesthetic appeal.
• Utilize retail math to manage stock levels and ensure product availability for clients.
• Conduct both inside and outside sales activities to promote design services.
• Maintain organized records of client interactions, project progress, and inventory management.
• Stay updated on market trends in interior design to provide informed recommendations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the design process, from initial consultation to project completion.

Experience

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in a retail or design environment.
• Strong knowledge of layout design principles and interior design concepts.
• Familiarity with retail math to effectively manage stock and inventory.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in both inside sales (working from the office) and outside sales (client visits) is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• A background or interest in market trends related to interior design is a plus.
