Design Coordinator & Marketing Assistant (Part-Time)

20 hours/week (approximately 10 hours supporting each business)

We're looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Design Coordinator to support two growing design-focused businesses:

• Thread + Vine Floral – Luxury wedding and event floral design
• PJJ Welding & Fabrication – High-end custom architectural metal fabrication

This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves design, branding, social media, and bringing creative ideas to life. You'll work directly with the owners to help organize projects, create marketing content, and keep both businesses moving forward.

What You'll Do

Design & Brand Support

• Create mood boards and inspiration boards
• Help develop new product and service ideas
• Build client presentations and proposal layouts
• Research design trends, materials, and inspiration
• Assist with Pinterest boards and brand inspiration
• Organize project photos and design assets

Social Media & Marketing

• Photograph projects, products, and behind-the-scenes content
• Film and edit short-form videos and Reels
• Create Instagram posts, stories, and content calendars
• Schedule social media posts
• Assist with blog content and email marketing
• Update website content as needed
• Help maintain a consistent brand aesthetic across platforms

Administrative & Organizational Support

• Organize digital files, photos, and project folders
• Track project tasks and deadlines
• Assist with customer communication and follow-up
• Help coordinate vendors, appointments, and deliveries
• Prepare documents, presentations, and spreadsheets
• General administrative support

For Thread + Vine Floral

• Assist with wedding proposal presentations
• Organize recipes, inspiration images, and floral references
• Help prepare for consultations and weddings
• Maintain studio organization and inventory systems

For PJJ Welding & Fabrication

• Create polished proposal presentations
• Organize project portfolios
• Help prepare capability packages and marketing materials
• Coordinate project photography
• Assist with outreach materials for designers, architects, builders, and contractors

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

• Highly organized
• Creative with a great eye for design
• Comfortable using Canva
• Experienced with Google Sheets or Excel
• Experienced with Instagram and social media content creation
• Able to edit photos and short-form videos
• Detail-oriented and dependable
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects
• Strong written communication skills

Experience with interior design, graphic design, 3D renderings, architecture, floral design, marketing, interior design, or a related creative field is a plus—but a strong portfolio and willingness to learn matter more than a specific degree.
