We’re looking for a resourceful and reliable Purchase Assistant to support our procurement
operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As part of a lean team, you’ll play a
critical role in ensuring timely sourcing of raw materials, consumables, and services that keep

The ideal candidate will possess:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying and evaluating local vendors for raw materials, tools, and consumables
• Prepare and issue purchase orders based on production requirements and inventory levels
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays proactively
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery timelines
• Coordinate with stores and production teams to track material usage and stock levels
• Support cost negotiations and seek opportunities for savings without compromising quality
• Handle documentation for inward materials including GRNs, invoices, and quality checks
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and assist in audits

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or Material Management or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing MSME
• Familiarity with basic procurement documentation and inventory systems
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with Tally or ERP systems is a plus
• Strong communication and vendor management skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a dynamic setup
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
