Design Engineer

• Design and develop pump models, components, and assemblies based on performance and application requirements.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and BOMs using CAD/CAE software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.).
• Perform engineering calculations (hydraulic, mechanical, structural, and thermal) to ensure pump efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Select appropriate materials and components considering strength, corrosion resistance, and cost.
• Work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams for prototype development and design validation.
• Conduct design modifications to address customer feedback, field performance issues, or cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant international standards (ISO, ANSI, API, BIS, etc.) in pump design and testing.
• Support testing and validation of pumps, analyze test data, and make necessary design improvements.
• Maintain design documentation, revision control, and ensure proper record keeping.
• Collaborate with suppliers for critical component development and feasibility checks.
• Assist sales and application teams with technical support, customization requests, and customer presentations.
