Design Engineer

Summary of Functions

Ø Responsible for CAD Design for all Products and Services

Ø CAD Activities include Design of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Parts and Assemblies using CAD Software.

Ø Adherence to ISO 2768 and ASME Y 14.5 – 2018 Standards.

Ø On time Delivery of Design Outputs.

Ø Adherence to AS9100 D, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001 and AFQMS (preferable) related to Design and Development in all SCM Areas.

Ø Continuous Improvements and 5S.

Qualifications and Experience

· B E/ B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics), with 2-4 years of experience (Mandatory)/ Fresher’s (Preferable).

· Advanced knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks & ANSYS etc.

· Good knowledge of CAD software techniques, design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of precision technical plans, drawings, and models.

· Good knowledge in sheet metal fabrication process, GD&T, DFMA & Design Standard.

· Good knowledge about Material Properties and Material Selection, Special Processes, Surface Treatment, Inspection, Documentation & Problem Solving.

· Ability to work independently & Good Communication Skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

A. Essential Duties:

· Responsible for Design and Development of New Products

· Collaborate with others to establish timelines and budgets, as well as solve problems.

· Ability to analyses data and situation and come up with creative solutions.

· Keep up to date on industry and engineering standards.

· Support for Prototyping, Inspection and Testing, Should Costing and Profitability.

· Meet Customer Requirements in Design and Development of Parts.

· Coordinating with Project Engineers / Stores / Production /Planning for any changes in BOM.

· Attend preliminary meetings with the Internal / External client to understand the project specifications and scope.

B. Responsibilities:

• Design & develop with high-quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools.
• Produce designs that meet requirements and targets
• Check products for feasibility, performance, costs, quality, safety, legislation and timing.
• Maintain compliance with company guidelines, safety, and quality procedures.
• Update and maintain product design files.
• Assist in improving daily processes to ensure that the CAD systems meet customer requirements.
• Work through software limitations and deploy solutions in the design and development of CAD models.

C. Quality:

Responsible for Quality Systems adherence to AS9100, EMS, OHS, ISMS and AFQMS as appropriate, reduction of rework and rejections, continuous improvement, 5S, Implementation of best practices, Customer Feedback, Complaints and Closure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
