Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and modify 2D & 3D CAD designs using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.
• Develop CAM programs for CNC Milling, Turning, and Wirecut machines.
• Perform program editing and corrections to optimize machining processes.
• Interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Coordinate with production teams for smooth job execution on shop floor.
• Carry out tool path simulations and ensure error-free NC programs.
• Support process improvements to reduce cycle time and increase efficiency.
• Maintain proper documentation of CAD models, CAM programs, and revisions.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience in CAM programming for CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with GD&T.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, cutting tools, and machining parameters.
• Problem-solving and program correction skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in CAD/CAM design and programming.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
