Design Engineer

We are looking for a talented and motivated Design Engineer proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in machine design, drafting, and manufacturing drawings, along with hands-on experience in project execution from design to installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop machine components and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings with correct tolerances and fits (as per ISO standards).
• Handle end-to-end project responsibility – from design, manufacturing drawing, assembly, testing, validation, and installation to customer handover.
• Conduct quality inspection of machined parts as per design specifications and tolerances.
• Perform machine assembly, installation, and commissioning at customer sites.
• Create and maintain BOMs, 2D/3D models, and design documentation.
• Work on pneumatic and hydraulic system designs and schematic diagrams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth project execution within defined timelines.
• Utilize quality checking tools (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, DTI, Slip Gauge, Protractor, etc.) for inspection and validation.
• Ensure compliance with design and manufacturing standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients throughout the project.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of machine design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, tolerances, and fits.
• Good understanding of materials, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and visualization skills.
• Ability to lead and coordinate project teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
