Design Engineer

About The Role

We’re looking for a Founding Design Engineer to own the space between product design and front-end engineering—transforming prototypes and interaction concepts into refined, production-ready features. You will shape how users experience our product from the very first touch, working closely with design and product teams to deliver interfaces that are visually polished, thoughtfully engineered, and delightful to use. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of design craft, UX judgment, and technical execution.

Work Arrangement: This is a 5-day onsite role . Remote or hybrid options are not available .

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to turn early concepts into intuitive, high-quality user interfaces.
• Build functional, interactive prototypes to validate design patterns, motion, and user flows.
• Implement polished, production-level UI using modern front-end technologies with exceptional attention to detail.
• Develop, maintain, and evolve our design system to ensure aesthetic cohesion and scalable front-end architecture.
• Influence product direction and engineering decisions as a core founding team member, bringing a design-minded perspective to problem-solving.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 3–6+ years of experience as a Design Engineer, Front-End Engineer with strong design sensibilities, or Designer who codes.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling.
• Experience creating high-fidelity prototypes and iterating quickly based on feedback.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills, including mastery of typography, layout, motion, and micro-interactions.
• Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, design-first startup where craft, polish, and iteration speed matter.
