Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and modify sheet metal designs using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or Inventor
• Develop 2D drawings and 3D models as per design requirements
• Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and BOM
• Design components like enclosures, cabinets, brackets, panels, and frames
• Coordinate with production and vendor teams for fabrication feasibility
• Support prototype development and design validation
• Maintain and update design documentation and files
• Follow engineering standards and quality procedures
• Assist in cost reduction and process improvement activities

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of sheet metal design principles (bend allowance, K-factor, unfolding, etc.)
• Knowledge of fabrication processes (laser cutting, bending, welding, punching)
• Hands-on experience with CAD software
• Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
