Design Engineer

• Develop and design new products or components from concept through to production.
• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
• Perform design calculations and simulations to ensure functionality, reliability, and safety.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and other departments to ensure product feasibility and compliance.
• Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, prototyping, and testing phases.
• Modify existing designs to improve performance, reduce cost, or meet new requirements.
• Maintain design documentation and ensure compliance with applicable industry standards.
• Stay up-to-date with new engineering tools, software, and technology trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in a design engineering role (entry-level roles can be modified accordingly).
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar).
• Strong understanding of design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerancing.
• Experience with simulation tools (FEA/CFD) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience with PLM systems (e.g., PTC Windchill, Teamcenter).
• Knowledge of industry-specific standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, ANSI).
• Exposure to additive manufacturing or rapid prototyping techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile or Lean product development methodologies.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
