Design Engineer

Position Summary:

InLine Motion is a fast-moving company that is experiencing substantial growth each year. The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated individual that is planning to quickly grow their skills to become an integral member of the company’s present engineering department. Ideally the candidate will continue to grow their skillset to become a future member of the management team.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Engineering:

• Design product handling systems using SolidWorks and AutoCad
• Create engineering drawings to be released for manufacturing
• Use ERP software to generate purchase orders to order components for designed equipment
• Create technical manuals for the equipment designed
• Work with other team members to improve processes and designs

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

· Will be required to cross-train in other areas to further develop design for manufacturing skill set

Required Skills and qualifications:

• SolidWorks skills
• Good understanding of design for manufacturing
• Positive can-do attitude
• Energetic and eager to learn

Preferred Skills and qualifications:

• Experience in designing conveyor systems and automation systems
• Experience in the food and beverage industry
• Understanding of industrial controls/ PLC programming

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
