Design Engineer

Position: Design Engineer (Power System - GBO) – Manesar, Haryana, India

Reports to: Engineering Manager – Global Back Office

Experience 3-8 years of experience

Employment Type Full-time

Our Camfil Power Systems (CPS) team in India, is presently regionally located at our Manesar, Haryana office, 30 km southwest of Delhi. At this location we are nearly 40 CPS colleagues all in all, and growing.

This position is required for Design and Drafting of Air Intake system on built to print version which comprises of

Role priorities

• support local and global engineering & sales teams creating fabrication drawings, 3D models & Sales layouts.
• General arrangement drawings for customer submission & costing purpose.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• drawings to ensure sufficient information in relation to specifications
• transportation & lifting drawings.

Operation & Maintenance manuals.

• electrical outlines.
• 4-eye check inspection activities for on time delivery & quality work.
• Meeting timelines, budgets and quality requirements
• visit vendors & suppliers for expediting the domestic projects.

Know-how (Education, Work Experience and Business knowledge)

• Degree - Mechanical engineering
• 3-4 Years of industrial experience in fabrication, mechanical engineering production firm.
• knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.
• knowledge in Solid works for modelling and detailing using sheet metal.
• Certified Solid works Professional in Sheet metal will be preferred.
• Weldment knowledge.
• Fabrication background, preferably in sheet metal work.
• 2D Drafting and , Bill of material generation.
• Material integration knowledge , especially carbon steels, stainless steel and Structural steels

Skills (Problem-solving requirements, people skills requirements)

• Professional level of English both oral and in written
• Available for travel domestically up to for a span of 2-3 months annually
