Design Engineer

• Design mechanical components like conveyors, rollers, furnaces, cranes, and cooling systems
• Create drawings and 3D models (using CAD software)
• Analyze loads, stress, heat, and material strength
• Improve existing machines for efficiency, safety, and cost
• Work with production, maintenance, and safety teams
• Help with new plant installations or upgrades
• Skills Required
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Knowledge of steel properties & manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of simulation software
• CAD tools: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo
• Basics of FEA / stress analysis
• Problem-solving and teamwork

Educational Background

• B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
• Diploma holders can work as junior design engineers
• Internships in manufacturing or steel plants are a big plus
• Knowledge of steel properties & manufacturing processes
• CAD tools: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo
• Basics of FEA / stress analysis
• Problem-solving and teamwork
