Design Engineer

Role Description

• Prepare engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation in line with approved project scope and client requirements.
• Review project specifications, BOQs, and consultant / client comments prior to initiating and finalising designs.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical queries and incorporate design revisions.
• Prepare material submittals, method statements, O&M manuals, training manuals, and documentation for authority submissions and approvals.
• Support the Sales Team by preparing technical quotations for aviation and infrastructure systems such as Aircraft Warning Lights, Heliport Systems, and Lighting Protection Systems.
• Attend client meetings to understand requirements and provide technical clarifications.
• Provide technical support to site teams during project execution and resolve design-related issues.
• Maintain proper documentation, revision control, and design records.
• Update and manage sales orders in SAP in coordination with the sales team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design.
• Strong knowledge and practical expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
• Competence in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and design tools.
• Innovative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) is required.
• Previous experience in industrial or infrastructure-related design projects is a plus.
