Position 1: Design Engineer (Water Park Equipment)

Experience: [4–6 Years]

Job Purpose

We are seeking a mechanical design engineer for our reputed client. The company is a manufacturer of water park equipment (water slides). The applicant’s role will involve 2D and 3D design and other related duties. The Design Engineer will enjoy a competitive salary along with other company benefits. He or she will bear the following responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems or components
• To work during the entire lifecycle of a project as a mechanical designer (design and drafting)
• Liaise with clients, the manufacturing and installation team to bring the brief to life through machine design projects
• Monitor and document the design process, while managing the schedule and budgets for the project
• Troubleshoot problems and devise solutions to resolve them
• Report to the senior mechanical design engineers and report to the company regarding the status of each project
• Research and keep up with the dynamic technology and trends in the mechanical design spectrum

Key Responsibilities

• Design water slides, aqua play systems, splash pads, and structural supports
• Prepare 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D fabrication drawings
• Develop GA drawings, layout drawings, and installation drawings
• Create BOMs, cutting lists, and fabrication details
• Ensure designs comply with ASTM / EN / IAAPA water park safety standards
• Coordinate with manufacturing, site execution, procurement, and quality teams
• Support site-related modifications and installation clarifications
• Optimize designs for performance, safety, ease of installation, and cost

Qualifications

B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Software Skills

• SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Sheet Metal, Weldments)
• AutoCAD (2D layouts & site drawings)
• MS Excel (BOM, calculations)
• Required Technical Knowledge
• Mechanical design & fabrication processes
• Structural members, fasteners, and welding basics
• GD&T, tolerances, and material selection (FRP, Steel, GI, HDPE)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
