Role Summary

The Design Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and preparing detailed drawings and technical documents for Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, CCTV, and ELV/Security systems in line with client requirements, statutory norms, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare system design layouts, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for:
• Fire Fighting Systems (Hydrant, Sprinkler, Hose Reel, Pump Rooms)
• Fire Alarm Systems
• CCTV & Surveillance Systems
• Perform design calculations (flow, pressure, coverage, cable sizing, etc.) as per NBC, NFPA, IS standards.
• Develop BOQs, material take-offs, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and sales teams for design inputs.
• Review tender drawings and specifications for feasibility and compliance.
• Support authority approvals (Fire Department / Consultants) by preparing required documents.
• Modify designs based on site conditions and client/consultant feedback.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings.

Software & Tools

• AutoCAD (mandatory)
• MS Excel & MS Word
• Knowledge of Revit / BIM (preferred)
• Fire system design tools (added advantage)

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering
• Relevant training or certification in Fire & Safety Systems is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,870.65 per month
