Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Static design Engineer based on-site in Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and evaluating mechanical and electrical designs for specialized equipment. Daily tasks include utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for product design, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring that designs meet project requirements and specifications. The role also involves problem-solving, optimizing designs for efficiency and providing technical support for manufacturing and quality assurance processes.

Job Requirements

Proficiency in Design Engineering, Product Design, Structural Calculations and Static Design of heavy structures and machinery.

Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering concepts and principles.

Expertise in design calculations for Bulk Material Handling Equipment and heavy steel structures.

Hands-on experience with CAD and engineering software such as: Advance Steel, Navisworks and Dlubal RFEM

Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Ability to perform structural analysis and engineering design for industrial and heavy-equipment applications.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Relevant experience in design engineering, structural engineering or mechanical engineering roles involving heavy structures and equipment.

Preferred

Prior experience in the mining, bulk material handling, mineral processing or industrial manufacturing sectors.

Hands-on experience with Dlubal RFEM and Advance Steel.

Experience in the design and analysis of bulk handling equipment and supporting steel structures.
