Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

· To support the production of weldments and development of weldments

· Research and develop new designs and promote now components and sub processes

· Conduct technical reviews with customer to understand and collect new product development requirements

· To support the different development phases for New Products in the shop: supporting the design, facilitating the rapid resolution of issues found during those builds

· Coordinate for any quality or shop issue, resolve all technical issues and solve problems related to product development through the cross functional team approach in effective and timely manner.

· Perform needs analysis and initiate ideas, product maintenance

· Evaluate new products, processes or systems

· Communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members and other business units

· 3-D CAD Modeling

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in the engineering field (Mechanical preferred)

· Good interpersonal skills are essential to develop a cooperative working relationship with others, both inside and outside the organization

· Experience in product support engineer or design at least 2-5 years

· Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks

· Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills

· Knowledge of hydraulics, welding, and metal fabrication

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
