Salary – ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month (CTC)

Education – Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

Age – 21–35 years

Design Engineer responsible for creating and improving engineering designs and drawings for medium-voltage automation and switchgear products using SolidWorks.

Skills –

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks
• 3D modelling, sheet metal, assemblies, detailed drawings
• Knowledge of fabrication, machining, and manufacturing processes
• Attention to detail and problem-solving
• Ability to convert concepts into engineering models
• Basic knowledge of switchgear/electrical components (preferred)
• Good communication & teamwork skills

Experience – 1–3 years

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks
• Create new product designs and concepts for switchgear and automation systems
• Update and improve existing designs based on engineering feedback
• Prepare fabrication drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
• Coordinate with R&D, production, and quality teams
• Ensure designs follow safety, manufacturing, and functional standards
• Conduct tolerance analysis and feasibility checks
• Support prototype development and continuous improvement activities
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables
