Job Summary
- Individual contributor working independently under limited supervision.
- Manages and navigates ambiguous projects with minimal support from more experienced employees.
- Experienced professional with adequate understanding of one’s own job area.
- Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Main Task & Key Responsibilities
- Execute engineering as well as product/ fixture development assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects independently
- Deliver assigned project scope within budget, schedule; ensuring overall quality of the work
- Liaise between engineering and other disciplines as needed, maintains inter-discipline coordination
- Act as primary point of contact for the internal / external customer.
- Review and interpret customer technical specifications and industry codes.
- Formulate SoW, acceptance criteria, take confirmation from internal/external customer
- Prepare project charter and plan along with necessary WBS, associated resource / budget need, risk management plan
- Monitor the project progress according to established schedules and budget
- Prepare & present progress reports from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budgets
- Handle change in scope through change management process
- Implement course correction measures in the event of schedule or budget overruns
- Facilitate design reviews within team and with customers
- Drive a team of engineers from different functions to ensure successful project execution
- Review and finalize engineering documents, including specifications, drawings, design documents & reports and procedures
- Liaise with third party contractors, vendors, inspection agencies
- Coordinate material procurement, factory and other functions to accomplish the task/activity
- Perform evaluation of supplier proposals
- Ensure compliance to project closeout requirements
- Provide required assistance in manufacturing, fabrication, assembling, testing, logistics, installation & commissioning activities
- Assists in continuous improvement of Project Management discipline and related processes
- Facilitate regular program review meetings with stakeholders
- Assist with technical / engineering bids & proposals

Skill Set: Functional
- 3D Solid Works
- Knowledge of Manufacturing methods
- Mechanical, Hydraulic & basic Electrical, Instrumentation knowledge
Qualifications
- Industrial experience of 1 to 3 years, out of which minimum 1 year of Design experience
- Strong decision making skill and problem solving aptitude.
- Sound understanding of Engineering practices, design methods & calculations
- Demonstrated planning, organizing and project management skills
- Ability to read, interpret & prepare applicable technical information and suggest design or process changes to ensure functional and cost effective results
- Must have the drive and initiative to independently communicate, gather information and make sound engineering decisions
- Able to work independently and interface with multiple stakeholders in a fast paced project environment, coordination with various stakeholders
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Good understanding of economic factors (cost, impact of decisions) affecting projects allocated
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team for successful execution of projects
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Strong in both verbal and written technical communication.
- Good computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software)
- Knowledge on Project management or scheduling software (e.g. Primavera or MS Project etc.) preferred
Working Conditions
- This position is considered predominantly OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
- Almost exclusively indoors during the day and sometimes at night
- Frequently operate from the factory.
- Occasional site operations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
