Design Engineer - MEP

Position: MEP Design Engineer

We're looking for a skilled MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Design Engineer to join us. As an MEP Design Engineer, you'll help create efficient MEP systems for various projects. Your role involves collaborating with teams, ensuring designs meet standards, and overseeing projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Design Systems: Create MEP solutions for heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, etc.
Size and select equipment for MEP systems.
Improve existing systems when needed.

Create Documents: Make technical drawings using software like AutoCAD.
Keep accurate records of changes and progress.
Explain designs through reports and presentations.

Follow Rules:Make sure designs follow codes and rules.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Work Together:Coordinate with architects, contractors, and others.
Help during construction to ensure designs are followed.

Test and Improve:Review designs and run simulations.
Test and check MEP systems to make sure they work as planned.

Manage Projects:Help plan projects and manage tasks.
Keep track of project progress and changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
• Minimum 5 Years experience in MEP design.
• Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, etc.).
• Knowledge of codes and standards (NBC, NFPA, IS, etc.).
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects.
