We’re looking for a talented Design Engineer to join our growing R&D and engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop thermoformed packaging and plastic components based on client requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software
- Work closely with production, tooling, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Conduct material selection and design optimization to enhance performance and cost efficiency.
- Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) from concept through to production handover.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide technical input during customer presentations and proposals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all design revisions and BOMs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in product design, preferably in thermoforming, plastics, or packaging industries.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD tools is must
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes — especially vacuum forming, pressure forming, and tool design.
- Good knowledge of polymer materials and design for manufacturability principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Experience in automotive packaging design or industrial trays.
- Familiarity with CNC machining or mold design.
- Exposure to simulation or FEA software.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or DFMEA practices.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
