Design Engineer – Reverse Engineering

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with strong experience in reverse engineering and 3D modeling from scan data. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in 3D scanning, 2D drawing interpretation, and 3D CAD software

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate 3D models from scan data (point cloud or mesh).
• Perform reverse engineering of existing components and assemblies.
• Generate manufacturing-ready 2D drawings from 3D models.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.

Requirements:

• 0 to 1 Year of experience in reverse engineering and 3D design.
• Strong understanding of 3D scanning technology and data processing.
• Ability to read and create 2D engineering drawings.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with mesh editing and surface modeling tools.
• Familiarity with GD&T and manufacturing processes.
