Design Engineer (water & wastewater treatment industry Only)

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Design for STPs, ETPs & WTPs: Develop comprehensive mechanical designs for municipal/Industrial sewage/Effluent treatment plants and water treatment plants (WTPs), covering primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment processes.
• Process Equipment Design: Design and size All process equipments like pumps, blowers, aeration systems, sludge handling units, filtration systems, and chemical dosing systems.
• Process hydraulic and Process instrumentation: Design of Process hydraulic, Creation of piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and Plant general layout etc.
• Detail engineering: Preparation of all mechanical detailed engineering drawings like Mech GA, detailed piping layouts ensuring process efficiency, Equipment GA Layout, Isometrics, Extraction of BOQ from drawings and detailing etc. Perform pump hydraulics, pipe sizing, pressure drop analysis, and mechanical stress analysis.
• Equipment Selection & Specifications: Select and specify all mechanical equipment as per project needs. Preparation of all mechanical design Documents like Datasheets, calculations, Specifications, Material requisition Review and approval of Vendor offers, Implementation of Vendor data into discipline drawings & Documents etc.
• Standards & Compliance: Ensure designs comply to IS Codes and other municipal/Industrial water & wastewater treatment guidelines.
• Coordination & Documentation: Ensure coordinated plant design within internal team (Electrical, E &I, Civil for seamless integration of mechanical systems. Preparation of engineering documents for client submission. Preparation of site construction drawings and relevant documents for submission
• Vendor & Site Support: Review vendor drawings, assist in technical evaluations for procurement and provide design support during execution. Responsibility for execution of mechanical works of the project, coordinate on works with main contractors, sub-contractors, equipment vendors, client consultants.
• Testing & commissioning: Preparation of AS BUILTS. Assistance in testing and commissioning of water/wastewater treatment system
• Tender & BOQ Preparation: Develop technical specifications, bill of quantities (BOQ), and cost estimates for mechanical components.

Qualifications

• BE/B. Tech/ M.Tech in Mechanical or Environmental with minimum relevant experience of 6-8 year.
• Four or more years of experience in relevant experience in water & wastewater treatment industry (ETP/STP/WTP/DESAL SYSTEMS).
• Thorough knowledge of Various wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
• Knowledge in PLC/Automated plant and OCEMS Systems.

Skills

• Expertise in Process/mechanical system design for water & wastewater System.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, or other mechanical design tools.
• Good command in MS office tools/Presentation Tools
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical equipment like pumps, Blower, Filters, piping, etc.
• Familiarity with municipal water & wastewater treatment guidelines and Codes.
• Basic Electrial & instrumentation Knowledge
• Analytical skills in technical troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills for cross-discipline collaboration and Client
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work in a physically and mentally demanding environmen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
