Design & Engineering Department Manager

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly qualified Design & Engineering Department Manager to join our organization operating in the Energy, Technology, and Engineering sectors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in EPC projects and at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Advanced level of English knowledge
• Proven experience in the energy sector (EDAŞ, TEİAŞ, substations, switchyards, industrial facilities, wind/solar power plants)
• Proficiency in SAP, AutoCAD, and relevant engineering software
• Experience in international projects and strong knowledge of technical standards
• Strong analytical thinking, leadership, planning, and coordination skills
• No travel restriction

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Managing all engineering processes across electrical, mechanical, and civil disciplines
• Ensuring compliance of project designs with national and international standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA, etc.)
• Monitoring and coordinating engineering processes using SAP and software such as AutoCAD, E-plan, and Revit
• Leading design, proposal, implementation, and as-built engineering phases
• Providing technical coordination with site teams, project management, quality, procurement, and control departments
• Conducting risk analyses, preparing technical documentation, performing engineering calculations, and ensuring accurate equipment selection
• Managing the engineering team, monitoring performance, and developing technical capability improvement plans
• Integrating the zero-tolerance safety approach into all engineering processes
