Design Engineer_NX(BIW)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced NX Design Engineer with strong expertise in BIW (Body-in-White) design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using Siemens NX, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop BIW components and assemblies using Siemens NX
• Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation
• Support packaging, feasibility studies, and concept design
• Conduct design reviews and work closely with internal teams
• Ensure designs meet OEM standards, GD&T requirements, and quality guidelines
• Manage design changes and updates effectively

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in NX CAD (3D modelling, assemblies, drafting)
• Experience in BIW structures / closures / trims
• Knowledge of GD&T, automotive standards, and DFMEA basics
• Good understanding of engineering principles and design processes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in BIW design using NX
