Design & Estimation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for fire design and installation projects.
• Collaborate with contractors and project Engineers to integrate fire safety designs seamlessly.
• Evaluate and select appropriate fire safety equipment and materials for each project.
• Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with fire codes and safety standards.
• Review and interpret architectural plans and engineering drawings related to fire safety.
• Prepare and present detailed project proposals and reports to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to source materials and manage project budgets.
• Stay updated on the latest fire safety regulations and technological advancements.
• Provide technical support and guidance during the construction and installation phases.
• Attend and contribute to project meetings to discuss fire safety aspects and progress.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose solutions to mitigate potential fire hazards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• 2-4 years’ experience in fire protection design and estimation roles.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety codes, including NFPA and local regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design and estimation software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
