Design & Estimation Engineer- Fire Protection System

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in design and estimation of fire protection systems.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, UAE Civil Defense requirements, and related codes.
• Proficient in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, HASS or similar hydraulic calculation software).
• Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and estimation of firefighting and fire alarm systems for commercial and industrial projects.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for fire pumps.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE Fire Code, NFPA, and other relevant standards.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Conduct site visits, gather project requirements, and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
• Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals from vendors and contractors.
• Keep up to date with latest fire protection technologies and industry best practices.
• Support project coordination, including scheduling and budgeting.
• Collaborate with the sales team, providing technical inputs for client meetings and presentations.
