ASAP - This position will be a paid hourly W-2 part time position.

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team. This position is an excellent opportunity for a student or professional passionate about residential and commercial architecture and/or interior design to gain hands-on experience in the field. You will work closely with our team, contributors and designers on various stages of design and execution, providing you with a comprehensive view of the industry. There will be several internal projects that you will be working on and will spend some time on active construction project jobsites. You will assist in permitting, reviewing drawings, assisting in site measurements or other activities required to keep our projects moving forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project teams with architectural and interior design work at various stages, from initial concept through construction documentation.
  • Support preparation of drawings, presentations, and visual materials for client review.
  • Attend client meetings and presentations to observe project discussions and gain exposure to the design process.
  • Help coordinate project information with consultants, including engineers and general contractors, under team guidance.
  • Participate in site visits to observe construction progress and learn about field conditions and project execution.
  • Research materials, finishes, and products, and assist in compiling selections for project use.
  • Assist with documenting project progress, organizing files, and maintaining project records.
  • Support marketing efforts by helping create social media content and project visuals that reflect the firm’s work and design approach.
  • Perform general administrative and organizational tasks to support the design team.
  • Conduct research on design trends, building materials, and sustainable practices to support ongoing and future projects.

A passion for creative problem-solving and the ability to self-motivate. We will give you the resources to be successful and encourage you to find and proposed solutions to our clients problems.

Basic proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. (Phone & Email)

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction.

Eager to learn and contribute to projects with a proactive attitude.

Social media savvy with an understanding of how to engage audiences.

Will be required to have a valid driver’s license, a personal vehicle and active insurance.
