Design Lead

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guide clients through the design, specification and purchasing process for custom furniture
• Contribute to design concepts, space planning, and material selections that align with client goals, budget and timelines
• Prepare quotes, specifications, and finish selections with attention to detail and accuracy
• Manage projects from initial consultation through production, delivery and installation with accuracy, excellent communication and follow-through
• Maintain organized project documentation and follow up communication throughout all project phases

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in interior design, furniture sales, kitchen & bath design, architecture or related field
• Ability to create professional renderings and visual presentations in SketchUp or similar design software
• Strong understanding of scale, proportion and space planning
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Detail oriented with strong problem solving abilites
• Experience with client consultations or project management
• No prior experience in wood sales is necessary; we provide on-the-job training about our products

• Creative while also being highly organized and process-driven

Hours 8am–5pm (M–Th); 8am–3pm (Fri); 10am–3pm (one Saturday per month)
