Job Description: Lead UI/UX Designer
Experience: 6-8 years of experience
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Lead UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design process, from conceptualization to implementation, for our various products & platforms. You will be a key contributor to shaping the user experience, ensuring our products are intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing. You will also mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.
What you’ll do:
  • Lead the Design Process: Oversee the entire design process, from user research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and implementation.
  • User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Analyze research findings to inform design decisions.
  • Information Architecture & User Flows: Develop and maintain information architecture, user flows, and site maps to ensure a clear and intuitive user experience.
  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
  • UI Design & Visual Design: Design visually appealing and consistent user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
  • Design System & Style Guide: Contribute to and maintain a comprehensive design system and style guide to ensure consistency across all products.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet business requirements and technical feasibility. Clearly communicate design decisions and rationale.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and support to help them grow and develop their skills.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay current with the latest UI/UX trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Usability Testing & Iteration: Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance data.
  • Accessibility: Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
What we’re looking for :
  • 6+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and experience.
  • Proven experience leading design projects and mentoring junior designers.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, motion tools (Lottie, After Effects), prototyping and systems thinking.
  • Experience with user research methods, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Curiosity for Gen AI, AR/VR or new tech that pushes UX forward.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture, user flows, and interaction design.
  • Experience designing for web, mobile (iOS & Android), and specifically for chatbot applications (similar to ChatGPT) and internal tools
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating your design process, problem-solving skills, and visual design abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design.
  • Experience with motion design and animation.
  • Experience with accessibility best practices (WCAG).
  • Solid understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
