Design Manager – Dubai (Odd Muse London)

Full-Time | Dubai-Based | Global Design & Creative Role

Odd Muse is entering a new era.

As one of the fastest-growing mid-luxury womenswear brands in the UK and US—with stores in London, New York and our upcoming Bond Street townhouse—we are building a dedicated creative and design hub in Dubai. We are now looking for a Design Manager to work directly alongside our Founder & Creative Director, Aimee Smale, shaping the next chapter of Odd Muse globally.

This is a career-defining role for a highly creative, commercially strong designer who wants ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to influence a brand with huge global momentum.

THE ROLE

As Design Manager, you will partner with Aimee on the full end-to-end design process across all categories:

• Lead design development for global collections (core, seasonal, capsules)

• Co-create a modest line exclusively for the Middle East, with deep market understanding

• Support in designing Middle East capsule drops and regional exclusives

• Own design problem-solving, silhouettes, structure, fit and fabric innovation across the brand

• Join China sampling trips to review development and refine prototypes

• Collaborate with buying, production and marketing to align timelines and deliverables

• Champion Odd Muse’s signature DNA while pushing forward a refined, elevated, global vision

ABOUT YOU

You’ll thrive here if you are:

- A highly skilled designer with a refined eye

-Strong understanding of structure, proportions, luxury femininity, tailoring, and timeless silhouettes.

- Experience across RTW, eveningwear, occasionwear, or luxury contemporary is ideal.

- Commercially minded

- You understand sell-through, product lifecycle, buying behaviours, and how design decisions translate into performance.

-Confident leading your own vision

- You are able to ideate, sketch, build storyboards, present concepts, and communicate with clarity, while also being comfortable working closely with the founder.

- Awareness of modest fashion, GCC customers, global design references, and emerging design talent is a major bonus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead design direction across global and Middle Eastern ranges

• Build moodboards, sketches, technical packs and design presentations

• Work closely with production during fabric sourcing, sampling and approvals

• Develop a structured modest line with Aimee

• Travel to China for regular sample reviews

• Stay aligned with brand DNA, quality standards, price architecture and sustainability goals

• Collaborate with buying on drops, cadence and trend response

• Maintain and improve internal design processes and calendars
