Position Overview
Mace is looking for an experienced Design Manager to join our consultancy team in Dubai. This role involves managing the implementation of design management systems and ensuring compliance with statutory, legal, and contractual requirements across a major portfolio of mixed-use developments. You will oversee design processes, coordinate resources, and deliver high-value projects through multiple stages, from planning and design to procurement and delivery.

What You ll Do

* Manage design activities to achieve business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
* Coordinate all stages of design management, including integration with construction, commercial, programme, and procurement teams.
* Provide leadership to design management teams and ensure operational excellence.
* Ensure compliance with design briefs, governance standards, and stakeholder requirements.
* Support strategic initiatives for business development and client engagement.
* Prepare and present KPI data and reports to senior management.
* Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation across teams.
* Drive sustainability initiatives and support carbon reduction goals throughout project delivery.

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in design, architecture, or related discipline.
* Extensive experience in design management for large-scale developments within the UAE.
* Strong understanding of design governance, project lifecycle, and quality standards.
* Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
