Job Title: Design Orthodontist – Aligner Division

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Orthodontist to join our aligner design team. The role involves creating accurate treatment setups, reviewing cases, and ensuring high-quality digital orthodontic plans for clear aligner treatments. The ideal candidate should have sound orthodontic knowledge, clinical experience, and a keen eye for digital case design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate patient records including intraoral scans, photographs, and X-rays.
• Design and approve 3D treatment setups using aligner design software (e.g., ClinCheck, Maestro, 3Shape, Ortho Analyzer).
• Plan tooth movements according to orthodontic principles and aligner biomechanics.
• Coordinate with the clinical and operations teams to ensure precise and timely case delivery.
• Review digital setups for accuracy, esthetics, and feasibility before final approval.
• Suggest refinements and modifications to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest aligner technologies and orthodontic design trends.
• Participate in case discussions, feedback sessions, and training of junior orthodontic team members.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BDS + MDS (Orthodontics) from a recognized dental college.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in orthodontic treatment planning (experience with aligners preferred).
• Proficiency in digital tools and aligner planning software (training can be provided if needed).
• Strong understanding of tooth movement biomechanics and staging principles.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
