DESIGN PAINTER REQUIRED

Civil Supervisor / Maintenance Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

The Design Painter is responsible for maintaining, repairing and enhancing interior and exterior surface through high quality painting and decorative finishing. This role combines technical maintenance painting skills with an eye for design ensuring facilities are both well maintained and visually appealing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Prepare surface for painting including cleaning, sanding, patching, priming and repairing drywall or plaster.

· Apply pains, stains, varnishes, sealers and special coating to wall ceiling, trim, doors and exterior surfaces.

· Perform design focused finishes such as accent wall, faux finishes, textures, murals, or custom color application.

· Touch up and repaint area as of routine maintenance and renovation project

· Maintain consistent color schemes and design standards across all facilities

· Match and mix paints to achieve desired color and finishes

· Protect furniture, flooring, and fixture during painting.

· Inspect painting surface

· Maintain tools, equipment and paint

· Follow safety regulation

· Follow Environmental regulation

· Follow organization policy

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

· Good English Communication

· Proven experiences in maintenance painting and surface preparation.

· Excellent knowledge of paint, coatings, finishes and application technique

· Strong attention to details

· Ability to perform decorative or design-oriented painting works

· Good time management

· Ability to work independently

QUALIFICATION & EXPERINCE REQUIRED:

· High school diploma

· Certificate in decorative and surface finish

· Vocational training

· Minimum 5 years’ experience as decorative painter
